The Sound Scene:
Is there one piece of advice you would give aspiring musicians to propel their success?
Justin Siedenberg:
I think too many artists put too much focus on finding a manager, agent and label. The focus for any band who doesn’t have a team in place should not be “let’s get signed or find a manger” but instead focus on becoming a great artist and making lots of people fans of your music. If you are truly making great music, you will rise to the top and most people will find you.
